I showed up at opening time during the weekday on a dreary cold morning. The least desirable time for tourists. Yahoo! nobody walking around allowed me to get a clean shot. The security guard didn't even care that I was laying on the floor taking pictures of the ceiling. Imagine laying supine on the floor where presidents, politicians, judges and dignitaries have all walked and nobody cared!!! What a Hoot.

I'm often seen lying on the floor with my camera. You get used to the looks

Whoa! Pretty breathtaking! I guess if you were laying on the floor, you weren't using a tripod, but it sure looks like it. It could not be more perfect in every way!

If you don't believe me I'll offer proof after voting but that you missed perfect symmetry here is maddening for me. And because you're soooooo close it's even worse. And believe me, I know it's not easy to do, but it's necessary.

Really like the perspective & the control of the shadows. I would have let the shadows be a bit darker though.
