 A lightning strike in Monument Valley between West Mitten Butte and East Mitten Butte with Merrick Butte on the right. Monument Valley (called Tsé Biiʼ Ndzisgaii in Navajo, meaning valley of rocks) is a cluster of huge sandstone buttes on the Colorado Plateau on the Arizona and Utah border.
