 this was a really difficult shot to get .. he was constantly moving .. and the light changing all the time as he moved into and out of the sunlight ..
i was just getting into the groove when toddy came out of nowhere all excited and literally ran over the blade of grass the spider was on ..
i looked for the spider thinking i might be able to get more shots if he was in a good place to photograph .. as i wasnt pleased that this one and some of the other shots were a bit darker than i wanted .. i didnt find him .. i hope he was ok ..

was quite surprised that this bombed out like it did .. i took the photo for the challenge .. especially after seeing how colourful the little spider was ..

i'd love to know whether ppl marked me down because they didnt think it fit the challenge .. to me the entire canvas didnt have to be colourful .. having an element in the photo that was colourful i felt totally fit the challenge ..
but realistically .. insects and spiders arent everyone's cup of tea when flowers certainly are .. for lots of ppl anyway .. ;)

feedback would be appreciated ..

Well done but probably would do better in a macro challenge. Colorful does not come to my mind when I look at this.
