Mmmm Brownies. Nice job. One of the top ones I've seen so far.

When I see camera's of this style and 8mm movie cameras in general, I cannot help but to think of early electronics. These were the 'gadgets' of the day. Certainly low-tech as the challenge title implies, but outside fo the challenge as the details instruct. Otherwise, this is a fabulous portrait of some toys of yesteryear. The balance of box vs box+camera, framing the starmite is very nice. A little too much light behind the yellow box, making the background a bit too noticable. May have wanted to clone out the meeting of the wall and platform to smooth it out a bit.

Overall high marks for composition, clarity of subject and detail, serious detraction for electronica.

I swear we had the same type of camera as the one in the middle of this shot. When I was a little girl, I used to burn my fingers on the bulbs by pulling them out when they were still hot. I had forgotten about that. Great nostalgic touch with the boxes. nice shot.

I'm not certain but do these devices contain any electronic circuits within? Well exposed, focused, and composed.

If you would consider the intricate workmanship along with the production of this items you would conclude that while they are old they are far from low tech. However, your capture is nice. 6
