| Choice of background, platform and angle are all very nice. Use of natural lighting adds to the ambiance of a 'general store' feel. All of the hues coordinate with each other. Slight flash reflection in the bottom of the scale but so minor as to almost not notice. Us Amricans would see kilograms as metric and new fangled although it has been around for a long time and in use everywhere else forever. The scale is definitely low tech compared to the new digital, bar code printing scales. Nice shot |

| This is a great example of low tech. I especially like the fact that this scale is off by 2/10th of a kg. Very nice touch, although I doubt a lot of voters will miss this subtle yet effective point. |

| A very nice old scale, but the real low tech equivalent is the famous weoght balance scale like the ine used to signify justice. However, your comp and image are nice. 6 |

| The background is way too distracting. It melds right in with the apples. I'd like the subject to be dominant, i.e., much brighter. Shooting a little more top down might have helped. |
