 I really do love flowers in the spring, or any other time for that matter.

This image is the result of combining 15 focus bracketed images in HeliconFocus. Then all my normal processing in PS after that. I used a Lumecube on the lower left, which is cropped out, for additional lighting from the side. I did wait for the sun to go behind clouds and luckily the wind cooperated too.

Thanks for the votes and comments! Even though this was an extended editing challenge, everything done here was standard editing.

I am usually not fond of flower photos, but this one, wow! Given the narrowness of the depth of field, you absolutely nailed the focus plane. Not mentioning the lighting and gorgeous colors. Again, wow!

the hairs on the stalk are so beautiful .. could see them so well as this was loading .. then it went to the smaller in voting size ... when this challenge rolls over this will definitely have so much more impact ..
