Nice shot. I like the progression of the dam through the picture. Perhaps might have cropped the bottom 1/2 inch or so, those trees are a bit dominating. By cropping tighter, you might have played even more off of the diagonal for composition (it does this already to a lesser extent, using the bottom of the dam.) But is a DAM low tech? |

This is a beautiful picture. Slight over saturation on the rust coloring but otherwise, a great shot. Good luck! |

Not sure how this is low tech. Hydroelectric energy is certainly as modern as the coal plant, unless I'm way off. |

Nice shot...a view of the power generating facility itself would've added some interest for the challenge. |

The concept of the dam is low tech but not this one. There is steel and concrete which require sophisticated plants to produce. However, yes the principle is as old as the hills.While this is a good image it shows us more detail of the foreground than the subject. It is a pleasing composition. 6 |
