We have a winner! Yes that is what it is well, It is called "1000 year egg" to non Chinese people. To the Chinese it is just called "Preserved Duck Eggs" Or "Peedan" (rough English translation) Ok whos next?

WELL THEN!!!! I guess that leaves 99% of DPC out of the running to guess what it is.

bird's nest soup? That's saran wrap on top? Some type of soup? Sorry. Someone guessed soup already. But it is saran wrap on top?

Hard to call, but I'm guessing it's a glass vase with either a lichen-like pattern embedded in it, or with those lichen-like floating inside it.
