Henry: this was a great contender. A creative way to view 7 spoons with great artistic placement. Congratulations on your 18th placing. Top 20 is good with 260 entries.

Beautiful color, and an uncommon composition for these very common objects. Since they're so prominent, I kinda wish you had captured more interesting reflections (maybe even the number 7 on a background lit from behind). Still one of the better entries.

The lamp reflection is very good one... thought i would prefer without window light. Could have used less distracting table aswell but good job anyway.

I really hate to mention this but the 3rd spoon whose handle is facing us on the right...the smudge on the handle really bothers me. You have a very unique image and I love the setup, the lighting, the colors and the idea but that dirty spoon is killing me.

Nice symmetry. You might have darkened the windows on the right. There are some stains on the spoons. (Who does your dishwashing? ;] )

Very nicely in focus, sharp, well-composed shot. Too bad the reflections in the spoons are so distracting, is there a way you could have draped some sort of shield and still had good lighting?

Love the sharp focus and great capture of the reflections. Photographing something highly reflective like this is among the most difficult subjects because you are photographing the reflections, not the objects themselves. Great job. The arrange ment of the spoons is just off alignment with the borders, which helps the composition. I am generally not a border fan but this one works. Good job.
