Lovers are always nice. The color here is pleasing and free from the artificial feel that most of these attempts display. Bumping up another notch. |

The postures and intensity are truly gripping and are brought out well by the framing. The yellow light feels a bit artificial, however. |

A beautiful and very original image for this challenge. My only gripe with this image is the pose. The womans pose is perfect, she seems to symbolize passion with no problem. But what about the Males pose? What is he focusing and concentrating on? Her chin? Apart from that the image is perfect and is one of four images that I rated the most highly for this challenge. Composition is good, lighting is also excellent. All the best with the challenge. |

I like the high contrast and use of negative space. I think the picture would look cleaner and more simple without the frame though. |

A compelling photo very well planned and executed. Would probably be better without the bra and straps. Excellent pose. Yellow color is very surreal. Don't like the yellow echoed in the border.

A bold entry. This shot has a lot of artistic strengths. It's probably gonna get shot down for a couple of reasons. First is that I suspect this will be too erotic for some people's taste. Second is that this is merely a desaturated and yellow toned image which makes no connection with the color yellow in an interpretive manner. I think this would be equally suited in a steel blue tone, sepia tone, or pure B&W (or in color). It's as if it was toned yellow just to submit for this challenge. For me, it's the second reason why I cannot highly rate this otherwise technically and artistically superb entry. |

Different out of the bunch. Nice expession and composition, background. I don't likr the border. Distracts. IMO without it yellow would bump out more 8 |

Don't think yellow works well on this shot. makes it too harsh and unnatural... Excellent composition though. |

Hmmm. what does yellow symbolize here? I am not sure. The man has zero passion in his expression. These are the tow most bored lovers I have ever seen. NIce line and use of light and shadow. For an image to work for me, to trascend above a simple reresentational image, I need to feel something, some connection, some emotional intensity. Great technical images, but it misses the mark. |

this i think is a great concept, my only qualm though is that somehow the dude looks a little bit bored, which i hope he's not. |
