 Shot today - just discovered this little beast. Explains the denuding of the tomato plants, yes?

Post challenge: this not so little creature is a tobacco hornworm, despite its propensity to eat tomato plants. He has been re-homed to a friend's terrarium as a science project.

oh hahahaha .. as in the pose ..
what a FANTASTIC shot .. and how excellently it fits the challenge ..
not often you see a photo of a bug that has this much personality and character .
thanks for letting us know what he is .. a tobaccoo hornworm .. maybe he wanted a change of diet ..
congratulations on 7th place .. and hopefully he lives a long and well fed life in the terrarium .. :)
