Heh, right on! My kind of photo.
Isn't it fun to throw things up in the air?
:D
I love it! Not to mention you beat "High Note" by quite a bit. Good job!

This is such a shame - if these umbrellas were crisp and in focus you would have been in the top ten comfortably. Terrific Idea. |

My favorite shot on the whole site, perhaps is an umbrella shot. This was very clever and pretty well done. A couple of things hurt it. The exposure issues on the left umbrella, the movement blur as well (though if you look at my portfolio, you'll know I am generally a fan of movement blur). I think a faster shutter speed would have worked better. Also, the noise in the sky is a problem for this kind of shot. |

IMHO Just the one on the right would have been perfect. |

i would have cropped the bottom part, as there is too much space |

Your colors work so well together - it becomes a classic. The movement of the handle of the left umbrella adds a bit of mystery that some will object to. Keep up the great work. |

Composition: 9
Technical: 6
Appeal: 9
Challenge: 9
Overall Calculated Average Score: 8, this is one of my top faves for the challenge. i really wish there wasn't any motion blur, but i also know how hard this must have been to shoot. i bet you had fun with this. good luck! |

I'm still undecided on this one. I'm not sure I like the 'movement' of the umbrellas. I will have to come back to this one. |

Now this is just tooooooo clever. How many times did you have to do this to get the focus so sharp? Just a little movement on the side which hopefully will be overlooked because of the difficulty of the shot. BOL You've got a 9 from me :) |

Get these in a breeze and you could use it for wind too. Nice picture |

I really like this idea. I wish it were sharper. I give it a 6. 7-8 if it has been sharper. |

Without the motion blur this would be quite something. |
