Actually, I didn't build this. *shocker*
When our four were young, we were at a Target store and they had a "Guess How Many LEGO pieces are in this R2D2" contest. The closest guess would win the structure.
I put in a guess for each of the four and one of them won it! They called and we picked it up. It's sat upstairs for over 20 years.
When the challenge was announced, I printed off a logo, glued it to black paper and went upstairs to get R2D2.
He wasn't there. He'd been there "forever". *sigh*
I texted around and he was living at the winner's home.
Winner Child brought him for Thanksgiving and I quickly shot him (R2D2, not the child) while they were playing frisbee (KanJam) outside.
I didn't have the extra pieces lying about him at first, but then I started thinking it would look like a shoppe window scene without them, so I ran upstairs and grabbed a handful.
I barely glanced at the images before I sent R2D2 home, I was so excited that all four "children" were here.
I was disappointed to see that only this one was sharp enough. My hands aren't so steady any more... especially crouching at the floor. No, I don't know why I didn't set it up on a table instead of the floor. Don't be rude.
But, one's enough, right? :D
I can't wait to see everyone's creations!
