This is a shot that may have a lot of meaning to the photographer, but on the general public it is hard to generate the same emotion. You have done well with your shot. You have good lighting and dof. Some things that you may want to concider with a shot like this. Try to include the whole statue in the shot. You have cropped out the base of this statue. By leaving the base and some of the table that it is on, you will balance the top and bottom of the picture. A side shot is also difficult to shoot. Your lighting is from directly in front of the statue causing hard shadows on the wings and back. If you turned the statue 45 degrees toward the camera and then had the light from the right side of the camera, you would include more detail of the statues face and wings and the lighting would be more even across the visible features.

Your current setup and lighting are good. You have enough light and interest to make this a nice shot. I feel that if you treated this as a human portrait and used techniques that work for them, you would really bring out the glory of this piece.

I like the level of light, angle of light and the gold quality of the light that matches the gold in the figurine. Good job!

I like this a lot but it could have been better had the entire scultpure been in the frame. 8

I'd have preferred to see a bit more light on the wings.

Framing seems too central. Otherwise a very nice use of light - well captured. 8 - floyd

gnice DOF.. adjusting the contrast a little so the wall seems more washed out and not so right there... acctually pulling the statue away from the wall a little might have done the trick as well if the DoF was set right for that situation
