| I'm not sure I agree that sharper is better. with the focus on the yellow rind, it might seperate the front from back and add depth, but as long as you blur the pulp a bit the focus would be no issue. nice shot. |

| Very nice. This is the best rendition of a lemon slice I have come across so far in this contest. I liked the back lit ones the most so far, but you chose a good healthy specimen, sliced it cleanly, lit it well, placed it on a nicely contrasting background and it looks good enough to eat. The red could be desaturated a little to get rid of blackened corners and Focus Magic at 100% at 1 pixel can sharpen the out of focus blur on the rind. A 10. |

| The challenge calls for yellow, and lemons are naturally yellow, so why is so much of this picture PINK???? |

| I like the composition in the shot and the colors remind me of pink lemonade - yum! The focus is a bit too soft throughout the photo, and it appears that colors got a little washed out due to flash or over-exposure. |

| Focus is a bit off, and the lighting is bit dull, shame the colours arent more vivid. If the subject (the slice) was further away from the red background (making it out of focus) it might look a bit nicer |

| Oh come on, can't just reproduce a high-ranking image from another challenge... gotta be more creative. Otherwise, awful technique and questionable composition. |
