 It is indeed. This was shot in 2008 in a house in Mexico city where Trotsky spent the last year of his life and was eventually assassinated with an ice axe by a KGB agent. It is a museum now, an interesting place. And it is just a couple of blocks from Frida Kahlo's house, which was convenient for certain illicit activities :).

so this image of yours popped into my mind and i wondered if my assumption had been correct .. that Frida Khalo's house was devoid of culture .. your comment about illicit activities sent me in that direction ..
so where did i go for clarification ..??..

loving the light, atmosphere and tones .. to name a few of the elements that jumped out at me straight away ..
this is awesome .. i can imagine it printed and hanging somewhere in the same town .. maybe in Frida Kahlo's house .. !! .. would give a sense of culture to a place that may not have much .. altho that's an assumption .. ;)

Great scene and great finish to this picture. I see some pattern/scratches. Was this done in processing or was this taken through a window with some reflections? Anyway I like it. Best in this challenge I think.

That's a gross bathroom. The yellowish cast to it makes it seem even dirtier, which is perfect for this challenge.
