I gave this a ten, felt it was one of the more interesting and creative approaches to the challenge. That you managed to catch the yellow jacketed bike rider as he passed the bike sign simply boggles my mind. This is clearly one of the best composed and richly nuanced images in this challenge.

how cool is this? how did you come by this shot? where you attracted to the signage, and then got lucky with the cyclist and the pedestrians? did you have to wait long? great composition, love the lines, and how the eye is led around so effortlessly. whether intended or not, you have a great image here! good luck! |

Could not be better, this moment. The combination of all the elements and the use of depht of field are very good. |

Nice shot but the yellow has been enhanced a bit too much when you look at the people's faces. |

COOL! love the motion of the biker, the ony thing i might add is the color of the peoples face in the background seems to be yellow as well |

This is a pretty clever idea, and hammers the challenge piece. To really get the contrast message of the bike travelling the wrong way, I think you need just a little more motion trail behind the biker. As is, this is an 8 from me. Great eye. |

Great composition and use of yellow, but I would have liked to see the cyclist sharp, rather than the people in the background. Possibly a faster shutter, a smaller f/stop or both would have gotten them all in focus, but if I had to compromise I'd choos the cyclist. Often when there's not enough light, I let the picture underexpose and then repair it in Photoshop using the levels or curves controls. You can get two (or sometimes even three) stops that way. |

I really like the composition of this shot. I like the painted road marker fit nicely in the bottom right, and the blurred rider's jacket. I think the motion blur of the rider gives an interesting anonymity. The 3 pedestrains in the back give a feeling of depth. |

I like how you executed this shot, I would have liked it better w/out the ppl in the background tho. esp. bc the girl in the middles face is noticably yellow. |

Staged or happenstance? Is yellow a hot color there, fashion wise? all you are missing is a yellow bike! Lighting is a bit dull though. Not much you could have done about that though. |

This would be one of my favorites if it weren't for the fact that the faces of the three people in the background look yellow, too. Otherwise, this is a very cool shot! |

I really love this shot. The neon yellows are great, and I love the sense of motion with the cyclist. |
