I gave this “Jerseyside” image a 10. I sure don’t see this as a “shoehorn” entry. Big difference between symbolism and just trying to “sell it” with a clever title. Sadly today a large percentage of folks disparage the symbolism of Lady Liberty and have perverted such language as “freedom” on their slippery-slope quest of ditching democracy all together.
Thanks for a fine reminder here of how tenuous is our grip on cultural values today. |
