A lovely shot, and although the sand looks a bit overexposed, this still rates an 8 from me. |

Think of the history, great photo. Fade the human image (or perhaps it is a real ghost and that is out of your control). |

Ghost town is right. I think I see a ghost in there. |

Is that a ghost in the window? Like the B&W approach for this. Nice shot. |

chilling. Dramatic use of b/w - face is eerie, overall photo is very effective.

returning for comments:
Very well past its prime. There is like a compression of the tones in this image however, the general feel is rather pleasant. Bumping up. |

Patsville, eh? Funny how it has become Nowheresville. A great photo. I like it a lot - tonality is good, composition is excellent, FINDING the place is extraordinary! |

Intresting shot, and I see someone has a good sense of humor here. Must be the wife and/or girlfriend (EDIT - make that daughter) there enjoying the view (EDIT - In the cold) . Good shot. ;-) |

Nice shot, but is this a landmark? |

Spooky...the woman sitting in the abandoned brothel is very unnerving. I think it adds a great deal of interest to this shot. Very creatively and artistically executed!
Edit: I like this a lot, bumping up. :) |

this photo seems to have a lot of potential. first you can reduce some noise.. and well when converting to black and white, try to increase the contrast.... also a little on the low key would do great.. just my suggestions... |

I hope everyone can see the child before voting and bypass seeing the shot as a whole. Some contrast would really bring out the shot more. This is a great shot to try the burning and dodging method that so many likes and dislikes. "7" |

I do not know if it intentional, but the face in the window ruins the "abandoned" effect. Very nice foto. |

If it did not have the child's face in the window, I think it would be better but a good shot! |

Really gives the you the feel of an old wester. Is that a person in that window or a ghost? Freaky. |

This just shines. I can't get enough of it. One of my 10's in the challenge and a great interpretation for landmark. This would also make a wonderful print. |

Abandoned?? I don't think so - I had some analysis done and I may be wrong, but that looks like Britney Spears in that window...

Is that a person that I see through the broken window? Nice B & W tones. Would perhaps have more impact if you had backed up a bit (if possible) to get the whole building with it`s surroundings. |

the composition leaves me cold, no pun intended. Why is the right side of building cut off in the middle of a window? |
