 Nothing extended I'm this one.

I'm still very hesitant about entering a non-extended editing wildlife photo in this type of free study.

I often wonder if people will require that there be something extended about the photo in this type of challenge?

I also really don't want to do extended editing on wildlife photos, because then people would begin to doubt whether any of them are real.

But regardless of all of that -- I'm so excited about this shot. I picked something else for the regular free study, and kept hoping that it would fit a regular challenge.

It didn't.

So I had to put it here. I just loved it so much!!

It wasn't much of a battle, by the way. The yellow crownded night heron didn't have any problem eating this guy.

I think it'w my first blue ribbon without any comments during voting!

Congrats Wendy, awesome capture! (I did not want to leave you completely commentless :)). By the way, my photo dropped from 7.4 to below 7 in the last day. Did something similar also happen to you, I wonder?
