The photo is done so well that we can still appreciate the intricate beauty of the beast. Gives one pause amongst deeper discomfort.

thank you for your nice comment on my photo! Yes, this whole place, Salton Sea, has a very weird, disquieting feel. Everything there, even this relatively new geothermal plant, show clear signs of decay. I don't know if you know it's history, it is fascinating.
