tried so many different shots for this challenge ...
birds and ants amongst them ..
went for this because the colours were so vibrant and i felt the voters might like it better than the other ones ..!!.. ;)

this bird was just taking off but the trunk of the tree on the lhs was distracting ..

Roz, I'm keen to learn to take semi decent macros, and I clearly need to learn to use a flash! This was up in my favourites of the challenge.

Another of your amazing insect captures. The vibrant colors and camouflage of the spider is fantastic. I thought this would ribbon for sure.

Super graphic like image, with excellent detail on the spider, and really well controlled exposure. I̢۪m curious - flash, reflector, or post-processed to level the exposure? Either way, it works.
