For those who were curious, this is a shot of dried rose petals.

On a different note, I found this challenge very interesting. It certainly highlighted that many voters bring a strict interpretation of the challenge to the ballot box. It's a shame that artists (not that I am one, either) can't accept creativity. It calls to mind 19th century skeptics who said impressionism wasn't art and would never last.

nice focus. yellow part doesnt seem to be give much importance. does it fit well to the theme??

A very interesting, abstract type of image but I'm not seeing yellow as being the dramatic color here, to me it's red that gets the attention.

I love the colors and the abstract feel of this photograph. I'm sure it will end up being one of my favorites in the challenge. BOL

Vibrant and vivid, but I would like a bit for of what I am looking at. This kinda reminds me of those "Guess what this is" photos from the Weekly Reader. If you are an International member, you probably have no clue what that means...sorry. Great detail in your focal point.
