the light is almost divine in this image .
how wonderful you were able to capture that .. and such a beautiful portrait of that deer ..

btw . i certainly would never have known whether this was a doe or a buck ..
are there obvious differences . ?? .

How interesting that, however excellent the depiction of the foreground doe, it's the background that carries the weight of the image. The calling buck energizes the whole.
