 Midway is a town in northern Utah, situated in the Heber Valley. I was down that way with my family this weekend for a mountain bike race. Along our path on Saturday morning, on our way to the race venue, we came across this field that was glowing with early morning sunlight as the sun poured through the mist created by the Provo River.

I didn't have time to stop so I went back the next day, about 30 minutes before the sun rose, and waited for the right time. I was a little concerned at first as there wasn't near the amount of mist coming from the river when I first arrived. But as the sun rose the mist spread from the river, filling the grazing field with this beautiful mist once again.

I only had a short time to take a few photos, so hopefully this one will do well in the challenge.

Lovely lines, tones and composition. The building atmosphere suggests the day to come, which could lead anywhere. Emotionally rewarding.

Amazing light, color, moment. I really like the minimalist subject and the way the fence crosses the frame at a diagonal. Beautiful.
