 An electronic sound activated device was used to trigger the two flashs, an blue filtered one to tone the water and another for the yellow projectile.

i'm scoring this a 6. i like the image, but there is something very distracting about the light reflection on the surface. i hate to say it, but i probably would have scored this higher had i not stopped to really look at it...all the same, good luck! it is definitely an interesting image.

Different and very creative. I like the blue color surrounding the yolk, the stopped action and the lighting. I wonder how long this took to do.

It just goes to show that splash pictures can always be improved on. I love the blue and gold with the white of the splash. Nice borders as well. A 10.

What an increadibly striking picture! Some may find the splash thing old, but this really fits both Yellow and Yellow leading to impact! A stop or two too high on the exposure as some of the highlights are really blown out and the yolk is just barely on the bleached side, but overall I don't think this *really* hurts the shot. The outer rim reflections are somewhat distracting and I think the lower exposure might have hidden them a bit better. Really like the border's 'finishing touch' to this one. First one I have commented on this round and I think this is solid top ten material.

I like this shot! Good color combination, lighting, and focus on the egg. I like the way you set your shutter so that the water is slightly in motion while the egg seems to be stopped. The only distractions to me are the reflections. Good Job!
