i don't see the glitter as an enhancing elemant to the image but too each his or her own
thats my 2¢ loose the glitter and the image is nice(maybe some saturation or hotter color too) |

| Very nice composition. The glittery highlights look unnatural, did you apply a lot of unsharp mask or other sharpness correction? |
