CRITIQUE CLUB
Challenge: Definitely met the challenge! About as yellow as you can get!
Technique: The water would have been a great effect if you had focused some light on it. The drops will become much more pronounced with better lighting. I also think you would have had better results on a dark background, with the pepper off-centered.
Overall: A great shot that just needs some minor cleaning up. |

Lighting is almost there but comes off a little flat. I think you needed to be braver with the light and shadow. That would also have brought out the richness of the yellow colour. 7 - floyd |

The amount of white in this photo makes the pepper appear a little darker than I would have preferred. |

It's an OK image, but I think a darker background would have been more to my taste, and the border is just distracting. |

really nice and sharp!... just not sure I like the white background with such a bright color... a dark background would give a nicer contrast and really make the yellow pop |

Simple composition. It looks as though you tried wetting the pepper to get some interest going. A strategically placed light would have brought out the drops more. Check out the Rule of Thirds, I think thi swould be an interesting picture if the left half of the pepper took up the right third of the frame. (Did that make sense) |
