 Picture was taken at home on a very white and glossy piece of white cardboard to get a good light underneath. With a slight hue adjustment I was able to bring out a little bit more color in the tobacco adding color to some of the texure. Becuase it is a macro shot. The background is out of focus which gave me the opportunity to crop this in close and tight to capture that warm naturally occuring arch in the background. The changes in the light help the eye move across the background and back into the subject matter in a never ending circle. Like the trying to quit the habbit itself! The title speaks for itself. However, to clarify. The object itself may be easy to break but the habbit is not.

The stick is out of focus on the right, and is firther forward drawing the eye much better than the focused part on the floor. Composition is lacking colours are good.

Excellent white point / black point levels and colors. Probably, along with composition, the strongest features of the photo. You'll lose points for shallow DOF, but not from me.
