 I know it's a cliche but when I think of yellow, I immediately think of the common weed......the dandelion. Cropped, slight brightness/contrast, resized, usm, added 4 pixel border and saved.

the picture is somewhat underexposed. try looking at levels and you might be able to correct it.. also you can try some curves to bring more contrast and then USM on the final image for sharpness

This picture has potential. I like the way you used a shallow DOF to accent your subject. Maybe could have been a little lighter.

I think a tighter crop would have created a spectacular shot. Possibly nudging the hue hue adnustment toward the yellow would make the flower stand out better.

there is such a small DOF here that i think this shot would benefit from a tighter crop, at least some of the other flowers in the top left corner

I think there is a green color cast that weakens this picture. Also the bloom that is most in focus is not enough to carry the rest of the picture. A 4.
