Great image, one of my favorites of the challenge, tells a story which I always like to see, makes you think a little. I like all the little elements the crooked tree the not straight footstep path, the rocks and debris in the foreground and the assumed vastness beyond. |

There may be no horizon visible, but we are conditioned to expect tree trunks to be vertical, which they nearly always are, so it looks a little off-kilter... This is just by way of weighing on the discussion between you and Larry :-) Regardless, an evocative image... |

One of the best in the challenge in my opinion. I think I would like it even better if the horizon was level but I think your purpose was to capture the texture of the snow in the bottom left. |

nicely spotted and photographed, one of my favorite of the challenge, the footsteps lead you in to the image and the tree and the negative space gives a feeling of being alone, quiet peaceful |
