 When my wife saw this she said she wanted a copy of it. To me, that was a win no matter where this ended up.

Regarding the crop comment ... yeah, I struggled with where to draw the line. At first I thought I needed to include the horses feet, which I do have in the non-cropped original. But that reduced the impact of my wife's presence in the context of this. I did consider an even tighter crop but then I'm cutting off my wife's legs to not much benefit as I couldn't go much higher without impacting the muzzle of the horse and also the rope. Plus, I was already pulling a pretty heavy crop as is. This wasn't a planned photo; I was out with the 55mm looking for something else and then noticed what my wife was doing in the pen and couldn't let my feet do the walking without getting inside the gate and interrupting what she was working on.

Beautiful, I just love the connection & warmth between horses and little girls.

The composition is a bi random - perhaps some room at the bottom or some drastic cropping
