This scene recycled several times during the day. Outside dealing with 14" of wet snow (plowing the driveway, and clearing debris from fallen trees, etc.).
We had no power except for what our portable generator provided (for 5 days! Gah). With the generator we are able to power the blower for the woodstove, which keeps our downstairs warm, and run the main stuff, like water (well pump), the fridge and freezer, plus select lights and outlets. Not enough power to run bigger stuff like heat, washer/dryer, or high-surge items like the microwave or stove.
Anyway, I thought this was a fun photo. A storyteller for us to remember. Hope you find it fun and interesting as well. I do wish the item on the wall over the woodstove was hanging straight though! :-) |
