 So ... this is what it looked like when I pulled the engine cover! :-)



This is a trail cutter (like a bush hog) that I use to clear parts of the property (usually the horse pasture) that gets too overgrown. I haven't needed to use it now for a couple of years and it's been sitting off to the side in the pasture, covered with a tarp.

Needed to get it running. Once I got past the wasp nest that had developed in the hitch tube I moved onto adding new fuel, fresh spark plug, etc. Noticed evidence of a mouse right off, although I was surprised when it came darting around the corner. It really didn't want to leaave, it was kind of funny. Eventually it did have a nice airborne trip (I actually didn't mean to, I thought it had left already) when I grabbed the leaf blower to clear this out. :-D It had come out onto the main deck with very poor timing and got blasted about 4 or 5 feet with the leaf blower.

Anyway, the equipment is up and running again and the horse pasture is in better shape. That mouse has an awesome story to share at the local watering hole for sure!

what a great catch ..
i have put out humane mice catchers in my house .. they go into the little box because of the peanut butter .. then the lid closes so they cant get out .. i then take them outside and release them .. they are so fast when they run away .. you are lucky to get a shot like this .. its pretty cool ..
