I like the coloring of this photo.

I like the effect of desaturating all colors but one. The image itself is wonderful! What a cute kid! The lines in the wall behind the child are a little distracting, but not a big deal. The yellow got some weired grain to it as a result of the desaturation... Tough to pull off without spot editing. Good luckin the challenge!

This is an interesting child portrait... the desaturation has created an unnatural look on the blanket... - setzler

how did you color this image?

Unfortunately the yellow has a very strong green tinge to it. The border suits the image very well and focus and composition are good.

This is a really excellent photo. I especially like your choice to de-saturate all colors, leaving just the yellow. The yellow Washington Monument on the T-shirt is a nice added touch. Would be an excellent photo for the wall in your home. Very nice.

When you've got to dink around in Photoshop to get a picture that reflects the challenge, then maybe you need to find a better idea! 1!

good idea but the yellow looks over saturated... see all the dots? I had similar trouble and got by ramping the color up in layers.. just a little at a time... also by using darken color and saturate togther.. and in layers

another photoshop manipulation...

I would have given this a ten if just his face and the blanket were showing. The shirt, bed and wall are distracting, but his face looks great against the blanket. Good luck.
