 Thanks for the nice votes and comments. I really liked how the snow gave this photo a "painterly" atmosphere. I think that helped it meet the spirit of this challenge, along with the colors and abstract looking mountain peaks.

WOW .. this is AMAZING .. !!!!! ..
like i've entered another dimension .. or another world ..
this image is like a stroke of genius .. incredibly wonderful for this challenge ..
i googled "Archelaos" .. came up with 'master of the people' .. which is fitting even if that translation is incorrect ..
i spent a long time looking at this .. it has so much depth .. not only visually ..
