CRITIQUE CLUB
Well, I was the last to leave a comment during the challenge, and now I get to critique it too! Lucky you! LOL!
LIGHTING: Very good, I love the shadows in the background and how the lighting falls on the actual pedals, leaving the stems in the shadows.
CHALLENGE: The only problem is the small amount of yellow here. It's there, but not intensely there, and that's what this challenge was being judged on. I don't think the lower score had to do with the photo, just the lack of yellow.
TECHNICAL: Everything appears to be right on in this picture. It all seems very crisp and nice to me.
OVERALL: A gorgeous print that would have scored much higher in another category. I also think people are getting a little tired of seeing flowers, because of the HUGE amount that are always entered in challenges. However, the top 2 were flowers, so that may just be opinion. Hope any of this helps??? |

| where's the yellow? the small amount of yellow isn't really enough for the theme.. this shots dominant color is green and or white |

| I don't like the composition here - I can't really see all of anything. And there doesn't seem to be much yellow anywhere in the photo - white, green and orange!!! |
