 Thank you all! I was really at a loss for this challenge so I’m surprised that what I managed to cobble together performed well.

Our town is an old rustic Italian village in the mountains - hardly the setting for a good film noir shot. I decided to hold out to our trip to the coast to find something more suitable in the more modern beach town by the sea outside Venice.

It was a work trip - and we went to visit a good friend and supplier. He was renovating the warehouse unit next door and I asked to take a look.

The idea immediately came to me - the poles and the direction of light was just too perfect. Our clothes were wrong, the pose was a bit on the nose but the best of a bad bunch and this was actually a test shot - we had intended for me to be the model but the shots weren’t as good.

So we went with this. Thank you for your support! I think with more time and preparation it could’ve been a really interesting image but I’m glad the idea got across enough here.
