Okay, so this one didn't exactly resonate. But I think it deserves the back story.
I always make my own cards from my own photos, and I needed a card to send my almost 8-year-old grand-niece for her birthday. Pandas are her favorite animal . . . her very favorite. And I had exactly zero pictures of pandas. So I asked my grand-daughter if I could borrow her stuffed panda. When she brought it to me, she also brought the corgi and this headset?? and said they were also for the picture. So . . . I put this together. Headset was huge and had to be cut way down in post, panda's head lay on his paw which obscured his left eye so it had to be propped up and then the prop had to be cloned out, picture was hastily taken, lighting was poor. But I did the best I could and sent the card to the kid with this story on it.
Panda and Baby Riley Corgi found an old headset and wanted to listen to some music. Neither one could do it alone - their heads were too small for the headphones. But being best friends, they do everything together, and it didn't take them long to figure out a solution. What song do you think they are listening to? Why it's Happy Birthday to Phoebe, of course.
Worked for me and, I'm sure, for the birthday girl.
Came time to enter the monthly Extended Free Study. I had nothing. But there was this. And somehow I thought it would be better as a "motivational poster" so I added the quotation.
