darkening the yellow might reduce the glare and make the M's show better... do it a little at a time in layers for the best results

NIce focus and composition. There is surprising amount of dark here. Have you tried giving it even more dark?

This was one of my first ideas but I didn't go with it. But you did it and did it well! They all look so shiney and the color comes out well! The light or flash might be a little too strong especially in the top left M & M.

Was thinking of doing something like this myself. DOF is a little shallow and the bright spots detract a bit. But an effective & enjoyable photo.

Yellow ones taste like soap. Nice focus on this and good lighting, but I think there needs to be a main focal point. At the moment my eyes are wandering. 7

i'm sure the separation phase was very painful ;-)

for the photo, i think it's just okay. i think the lighting is a little too inconsistent (brighter lower / dark above) but also i think if you had just arranged a couple on a black or white board the photo would have been more powerful.
