I dont really know why but I really like this. I guess the simple things in life ARE often the best. May have been better if you had managed to eliminate the shadows (i.e a more high key effect), but nevertheless, well done. 8

Very crisp and great textures. To my eye, though, the shell looks a bit disproportionately large for the frame.

Like the DOF. Clean presentation. I think the point is well conveyed.

Technical: One comment: lighting a bit harsh from the right, but not enough to detract from the beauty and simplicity of this shot. Well done!
