 Wind blowing in some reeds near the San Elijos Lagoon. The contrast of the light reeds and the deep blue sky with the polarizer appealed to me, and they seemed to really show off the breeze well.

Shot with polarizer. Finished with cropping, color adjustments, sharpen, neat image, resize and final sharpen.

Things that frustrated me with this shot: Because of the "basic rules", I had to do a "bad" crop (tighter than I wanted) to get a couple of minor elements out; I still couldn't get the power lines in the bottom left out. :( I also got very frustrated by the file size limitation. To get a (barely) decent quality after sharpening, I had to take the longest side down to 540 pixels - much too small to show well.

Oh well, gotta take a chance some times.

Update: Got it up to 550 pixels, and added a border to give the impression of bigger size.

I really like the color contrast here, and it fits the challenge well. The high wires back there, or whatever they are, are somewhat distracting, but I know how hard they are to avoid, 9.

this is wonderful, so clear and simple... there are other similar pictures in this challenge, but none of them speaks to me like this one. 10.

Although the title is superb, it looks little more then a whisper to me. More of a gust. Nice contrast of colors. Conveys wind well.
