This is a passionate image, very emotive. I like the perspective from which you shot.
The time of day you shot this worked very well, as the lighting is very nice and adds to the drama. Although the bottom is in shadow, the highlights on the face bring out the expression very well.
There is very little color in this, and it looks good. It's just the right amount, in the sky, to contrast the statue.
I like the way the subject is framed by the bare tree branches.
Focus, and exposure are good.
No digital noise.
Over all very good job!

| FANTASTIC subject but there seems to be a bit too much shadow at the bottom, a little too much contract around the face, and the leafy stuff to the left is distracting. |

| nice composition. excellent subject. Nice use of natural lighting. good framing and angle. I question the use of that particular color but it wont affect the rating I give. 8/10 |
