Five matches were seriouslly harmed in the making of this picture, but my hand is perfectly safe.

Yeah, it simple, it's dark, it's not that suggestive, but hey, it's better than a corny idea of leaves flying around (Which was my original idea)

No manipulation was done on the form of the flame. A simple use of a blow dryer can do miracles, do it may take 124 shots.

-Lighted with only the light coming from the candle, white background and a diffuser filter on my 50mm lens.

This is my favorite of the candle shots (so far) The white balance and color look more natural than most. I like the deep black background as well. Be careful, though- Nike might get you for a trademark violation!
