 Morning, sunshine, tea, being present in the moment.

Edit to add after results are in: How to get good steam: rapidly boiling water poured into cool mug with tea bag, set on table in area still cool from overnight lows, probably helps to have low humidity of Pacific Northwest, then side light with sunshine through the window, dark background with wooden chair, very still air (no open windows, no forced air heat or cooling, no sudden movements), then take a few stills and pick the one with the best swirl of steam. Obviously time to wash the windows, but part of the simple pleasure is enjoying the moment without letting such things be upsetting.

The overall feeling of the photo is one of warmth and comfort. The steam from the coffee is inviting, and the light from the window is soft and inviting. The simplicity of the table and the lack of other objects in the photo create a sense of calm and tranquility.

I would describe this photo as a "snapshot of a moment of peace." It is a simple, yet evocative image that captures the essence of a warm cup of coffee on a cold morning.
I would like to know how you managed to get such a perfect steam coming out of that cup.
