I was in Tarifa the very same weekend the challenge was running, but hadn't seen the subject yet :(

Truly, I was amazed there was absolutely no wind there. Gorgeous weather, but no wind at all, which happens to be one of the mosts strange things you can see in Tarifa and around... NO WIND. I went To Bolonia beach, Tarifa, and had lunch at the Hurricane Hotel (go imagine why the name!) near Los Lances beach, took some pics around, but no wind on any so I couldn't enter!!

Anyway, Tycho, if you live around here maybe we can start thinking about South Spain DPC meeting. now we're two! :)

Small amounts of noise in the sky, but otherwise a good photo. Depicts use of wind, although not the movement of it. Maybe a slower shutter speed would have shown movement in the blades...

Like too many other images in this challenge, this is one is static where I expect to see energy, especially in an image TITLED "Energy"... I can see why you have chosen your POV, from an overall compositional perspective, but given that this photo is "of" the windmills, surely we'd be better served by an angle that exposes more of the blades to our view?

too short take! (or turbines don't move)

Nice photo. If the shutter were slowed down just enought to catch some rotational blur - it would have been better.

Nicely composed landscape shot. Fits the challenge, and technically very good. 9.

Good clean shot. Would have helped if there was something to show motion.

a slower shutter speed might have captured the action of the wind better - get the blades in motion.

may have preferred a slightly different angle (not sure why - perhaps would like more of a view of the last one?). texture and color is great, especially in the foreground.
