 a chattering or flock is the collective noun for a group of rainbow lorikeets ..

had a family gathering at my nephew's place ..
these rainbow lorikeets are frequent visitors and seemed quite unfazed by me taking their photo as long as i moved very slowly ..
i was able to get quite close using the flash as the light wasnt that great ..
i think that contributed to the oversaturated look ..

its a few photos stitched together .. :)

this is the outtake .. was really undecided on which one to enter .. my daughter said she liked the one i entered better .. so i went with her opinion ..


ps .. thankyou for the love ppl gave this pic ..
i never expected to get in the top 10 with a 6.3 .. was a nice surprise .. <3
