 Decided to practice lighting with a couple of nicely machined bookends (the screws really can turn and add pressure to a stack of books) arranged to squeeze an orange. Lights from both sides for rim light, soft-box above and behind, white reflectors just below camera lens to lighten the dark metal. Cloned out a bit of shadow on the table between the bases of the apparatus.
