 I really like how the grass looks so smooth and flowing in this pic .. I just had to use it for a challenge ..

got this comment during voting .. I'm thinking jim .. went down from 7.6 to 7.0 .. but i didnt really understand the message ..

"Extended lets you out of comfort zone. Opportunity missed."

would love to know what was meant by the comfort zone & the opportunity missed ..

here's the original sooc to clarify what i did . :)


editing steps: i extended the rhs to get a better composition as i didnt like the grasshopper centered .. adjusted the colours and added a front leg that was actually in focus ..

It means there are other things than grasshoppers to take pics of. Big world out there. Yes you are terrific at this narrow genre but surely you can excel at other subjects with time. Or is it only ribbons you are after.
