 I always wanted to see this. Aqua Alta happens when high tide, rain and wind flood San Marco square.It happens quite often, but I never saw it before ...until now. This was not a particularly big one, maybe ankle-deep in the deepest places, and some parts of the square were still dry, but still quite impressive and beautiful.
